Latin Like ME is an intimate evening of storytelling to celebrate Latinx pride Set in New York City during Hispanic Heritage Month, this inaugural event represents the rich diversity of Latinx culture with stories that illuminate our shared history and honor our unique experience as part of a multi-layered community.

Latin Like ME is looking for dynamic storytellers/speakers to share their individual experiences as a Latinx person. Stories should be 10-12 minutes max with a clear beginning, middle and end. Submit your story idea, bio and headshot here >>>

 

Who is it for?

Latin Like ME is rooted in the belief that we are stronger TOGETHER. Strength comes from listening, learning and asking questions. All are welcome, wanted and appreciated.

What can I expect?

Networking: 30 minutes

Storytelling: 3-5 speakers sharing their Latin Like ME story

Open Mic: We invite attendees to share their 2-minute Latin Like ME story at the mic or in writing submitted prior to the event.

*Due to time constraints, not all submissions will be read/heard, however, we welcome including them on this site.
